Creator's Collective (CC)

The Creator's Collective is a group that combines arts and spirituality. Each gathering includes meditation, time for personal creative/artistic response, and group share-backs. The structure and facilitation is balanced with plenty of room for personal and emergent experiences. 


Logistics 

• Schedule:
  1st & 3rd Monday evenings of each month
  6-9 pm
  Plan to arrive 15-5 minutes early to get settled.
  We will sometimes end around 8:30 if the evening calls for it. 
  
  
• Location:
  Clear Seeing Studio 
  Mcguffey Art Center (Anna's Studio, #4)
  Access: Enter through the south/downtown mall side entrance.
  Studio is to the right, immediately after entry. 
  If you know you're arriving late, please message in advance so we know to expect you. 
  If building is locked (McGuffey is closed on Mondays) call Anna. 
  
  
• Parking:
  Available behind McGuffey.
  Guest spaces are spots facing away from the building.
  You do not need a parking pass. 
  
  
• What to Bring:
  • Journal/sketchbook (I recommended having a dedicated sketchbook for this group),
  • Pen/pencil,
  • Cushion to sit on the floor and possibly a little blanket for the floor, to nest your space.
    
    Optional:
  • Text, or image relating to the theme. (examples: poetry, spiritual text, philosophy, examples of how themes shows up on other fields such as permaculture, physics, etc..)
  • Personal materials that are portable and non-toxic. (low mess materials. no pastels please.)

  Creation stations with materials (drawing, watercolor, acrylic, small sound booth for personal toning/sounding).

Our purpose is to:

• Embody ourselves as Inspired Creation, as vessels for Inspired Creation to flow through.
  
• Claim sovereignty as Creators, and choice in our Co-Creations.  
• Clarify where we are sourcing our vitality and inspiration from, how, and for what purpose, 
• ​Enhance our awareness, communication, and abilities as extensions of Creation,
• Offer our Creative efforts to the wellness of our kin, past, present and future, including and beyond human, and eco-kin, supporting the respectful interconnection and cooperation of all beings. 
• Know our unique abilities to meet the ever-present threshold of what is becoming as and through us, 
• Know that we are an inherent part of creation remembering, discovering, loving itself whole again,
• To rest, and be amidst heart-centered community. 

Each gathering focuses on a theme and inquiry, which will be shared via email in advance. 
Themes will progress through an archetypal journey that weaves Creation and Evolution of the individual and collective. 

As an example, our first inquiry was:
When you create, who is the one creating, and why?

As we sit with inquiry, we are present, allowing space for a slow and restful process of contemplation and discovery, including room for emptiness and the unknown. We release to reach for an ultimate answer. 


Practice & Consistency
The Creator's Spiral is a practice that builds with consistency, growing from cycles to spirals. If you feel called to the group, you are encouraged to attend regularly for the full experience.
The Creative Spiral inherently and uniquely integrates with each person who walks the path, as it opens and brings you into relationship with what is ready to arise for you. You will notice our themes emerging throughout the many aspects of yourself and your life. Those who have been through the Creative Spiral before have experienced profound personal transformations linked to cultivating and living in alignment with expression of your authentic self most natural calling in life.
