Attempted Domination is a series of industrial abstractions painted in oil between 2007-09. These images respond to the climate crisis we are enduring.  This series touches on environmental collapse, hopes of clean energy, and diseases linked to industrial pollutants.

Authority is a series of charcoal drawings measuring 22x30 inches, created between 2007-09. This collection of drawings is a response to the 2008 American presidential campaigns between President Barack Obama, and Senator John McCain. The images capture the tension, aggression, and spit-fire of a divided population in a highly charged fight for the top-most position of authority, of choice. Anna called upon a cast of power poles and power lines as stand-ins for human characters and systemic unrest.

Luminous Portraits arose between 2010-16 as Anna began her studies in astral projection and shamanic energy medicine. As Anna cultivated skills of perception beyond the physical, she was able to bring imagery to powers that were often felt but not seen. She learned to work with subtle energy bodies, a study that would inform all of her work thereafter. In the Luminous Portrait series Anna had the opportunity to paint portraits of collectors, loved ones, the deceased, and self-portraits.

Luminous Relationships, are medium to large scale oil paintings on panel created from 2012-14. These works focuses specifically on the movement of energy in relationships, removing all identifying details to feature gestures of archetypal themes. The paintings of Luminous Relationships offer shape, color and force to the ineffable complexities of relating.

Transition & Transmission are works on paper created between 20017-19 while Anna was in an artist's retreat in Arizona. This was a time of significant transition in Anna's life during which she opened herself to a deeply devotional artistic practice. The oils and watercolors created during this time marked her distinct shift in her work.

The Sacred is comprised of oil, and gouache paintings created from 2019-2025, with one painting (Divine Feminine, right) painted in 2015. This series chronicles Anna's paintings as thresholds and landmarks of expanding awareness, transcendent dialogue, and evolving consciousness. The Sacred is a body of work offering imagery of direct experiences, and visions of transcendent or alchemical experiences.

Sketchbooks are specifically watercolor and gouache paintings created during Anna's time in the desert retreat, between 2017-2019. These paintings offer intimate impressions of her visions at this time, as she explores the unperfected strokes of humanity embracing itself. Anna's strokes of colors interlace, weave, and illuminate like stained glass, laying lines of connection between the sensual, the sacred, and the innocent.

Psychologlyph® is not shown in these galleries, though it deserves acknowledgement as it constitutes a significant portion of Anna's work since 2018-present. During her time painting in the desert, she began meeting and tending the seeds of what would become Psychologlyph, a visual language of relational, emotional and mental health.  Since 2018 the series has grown to over 200 images, and includes collaborative writings and  peer reviews with licensed therapists and psychologists.

Presentations on Psychologlyph have been hosted by University of Virginia's Contemplative Sciences Center, Frank Batten School of Leadership & Public Policy, and the UVA Children's Hospital. Anna is in the process of making the work more widely available. Her intent is to make relational awareness, language and skill widely accessible across current barriers of communication, for the purpose of enhancing collaborative enjoyment and success, and to prevent, reduce, and heal trauma.

Psychologlyph is a culmination of Anna's studies and artistic documentation or relational power,  making a step away from the luxury of fine art, and toward an enjoyably liberating application of healing and care for adults and children alike.
