Attempted Domination is a series of industrial montages painted in oil between 2007-2009. These images harken to the aftermath of the climate crisis we are enduring. This series touches on environmental collapse, hopes of clean energy, and diseases linked to industrial pollutants. Anna chooses to open this series with a feminine figure draped in golden power lines, a promise that the Feminine power will emerge to balance and restore to us a more beautiful design. 
Authority is a series of charcoal drawings measuring 22x30 inches, created between 2007-2009. This collection of drawings is a response to the 2008 American presidential campaigns between President Barack Obama, and Senator John McCain. The images capture the tension, aggression and spit-fire experienced by a divided population in a highly charged fight for domination. To remain bipartisan, Anna called upon a cast of power poles and lines as stand-ins for the human characters and systemic unrest. 
Luminous Portraits arose between 2010 - 2016 as Anna began her studies in astral projection and shamanic energy medicine. As Anna's skill of perceiving luminosity and etherial power were cultivated, she leaned in, growing her own relationship and skill in working with subtle energy bodies. This series gave Anna the opportunity to paint collectors, loved ones, the deceased, and self-portraits. 
Luminous Relationships, painted from 2012-14, explores the movement of energy in relationships. Again, Anna removes figures and details to make way for broader archetypal gestures, and emotive themes as she covertly explores and unpacks the ineffable complexities of relating. 
Transition & Transmission are works on paper created between the fall of 2017 and summer of 2019 while Anna was in residency in Arizona. This was a time of significant transition in Anna's life during which she opened herself to a more deeply devotional artistic practice. The oils and watercolors created during this time marked her distinct shift into painting as a means and spiritual translation, and transmission. 
The Sacred is comprised of oil, and gouache paintings created between 2019 and 2025, with one painting (Shayla, right) channelled in 2015. This series documents Anna's paintings as thresholds of expanding awareness, transcendent dialogue, and evolving consciousness. This body of work continues to grow, representing a pole from which one may turn to respectfully face and compassionately embrace the full spectra of qualities and experience leading to and including the opposite pole of emptiness, akin to the whole of the cosmos embracing the black holes within it. 
Sketchbooks are specifically watercolor and gouache paintings created during Anna's time in the desert, between 2017-2019. These paintings offer intimate impressions of her visions at this time, as she explores the unperfected strokes of humanity embracing itself. Laying lines from the sensual, to the sacred, to the innocent, Anna's strokes of colors interlace, weave, and illuminate like stained glass.
